Within the 'end of season review' it was stated that we need to bolster our front 5. (If you haven't read it, it can be found here. I am pleased to announce that Luke Patey will be joining us from Dereham for next season.
He played and impressed in the friendly game at the end of 2019. He is a solid player who can play across the front and back rows and will be a strong addition to the squad.
Luke is also looking to become a coach and would like to complete his level 1 RFU coaching course, when the next one becomes available.
Through social media he's been introduced to some of the players, who are looking forward to meeting and training with him once it is safe to do so.
I'm sure you will make Luke feel extremely welcome at the club, once everything returns to normal and with me wish him all the best of luck for the coming season.
